Creating Haiga

Haiga is created by combining an image with a haiku. I’ve only made a couple and there is usually quite a time gap between them. That means I’ve usually forgotten the process so it takes a while for me to get it right. Today, I think I just might have pulled it off . . . you be the judge.

LUL SciArt Evening of Poetry

On March 30th I was pleased to participate in a wonderful evening celebrating Science, Art and Poetry just as the header says. Below is a link that will give you the opportunity to see the work created for this competition and hear the words of winning community poets. You will also hear the work of accomplished poet, Alice Major. I joined former poets laureate Kim Fahner and Choe LaDuchesse. It was a wonderful evening. Enjoy:
